EDUCATION: PRIVATE SCHOOL IN LAGOS PRODUCING FOREMOST AND OUTSTANDING GRADUATES
CITY BELL, ADEYINKA RAPHEAL was recently hosted by the proprietor of St. Davdel Schools, Mr. Segun Thomas who disclosed in his chat why the citadel of learning is one of the best rated in Lagos state and Nigeria at large. St. Davdel Schools is not just a citadel of learning but an educational institution that tutor their students to soar higher in every area of their lives and produces visionary future leaders through their professional teachers.
According to Mr. Segun, the school was established in July 1st, 1997 with the primary school named St. David Nursery and Primary School, sited at 8, Anjorin Dada Street, Ijegun, Lagos. The school commenced with four (4) students in a single class. The school that started with just four pupils has now produced distinctive and outstanding graduates that are super fantastic doing well in their careers. Some are now medical practitioners, lawyers, pilot, engineering, bankers etc..
Despite various challenges faced the School when established, the school’s vision and mission did not make the management to lose focus on the reason why the school was established. In 27th July, 2005 the school’s name was changed from St. David Schools to St. Davdel Schools. 2006, the school registered twenty-one students as external students for WAEC and NECO. They all came out in flying color. Truly, St. Davdel Schools is a citadel of Excellency for leaders of tomorrow; establish to re-awakenings the low standard of education in the society and to assist the educational system in Nigeria for the upliftment of primary and secondary education.
The school has the best hands that teach pupils. They are not just graduates but professional teachers with first degree or second degree in education certificate. The school also provides adequate training to their staff because knowledge is light.
Parents are very vital to us in St. Davdel Schools. We do allow parents to participate because they are stakeholders of the school. Parents are highly respected and welcome their opinions.
